DISRUPTING THE CLEANING AISLE WITH A PLASTIC-FREE REBELLION

Belief Machines has been working with eco, sustainable household cleaning brand Homethings on their packaging design and brand refresh to support with retail listings growth and category sell through. The primary objective of this refresh was to support ROS, through awareness and education in a relatively new category. 

From a challenge perspective, the biggest obstacle we faced was delivering a packaging concept and messaging hierarchy that successfully brought to life the concept and benefits of refilling your cleaning spray, instilling consumer confidence to purchase what was essentially an empty bottle. In a category full of established brands, we played to our strengths as a challenger and focused our attention on bringing disruption and a sense of agency to our products, ensuring the value proposition is front and centre of the design.
